For several years Martin Lynch, one of our Directors, has been an active volunteer for AidCamps International and as a company, Clymac have made contributions to a number of charities that have helped fund the building of several schools in Africa.

It was on one of Martin's trips where he first saw the work of Building Schools for Africa. Working in partnership with SHUMAS (Strategic Humanitarian Services in Cameroon) their aim, as part of the UN's second Millenium Development Goal, is to raise money to build schools in rural Africa. Their vision is to ensure that by 2015 children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling.

We're proud to report that six of our team including Cliff Wright, a Clymac Director have volunteered to travel to Cameroon in November to help the programme and see first hand the fantastic work being achieved by Building Schools for Africa and SHUMAS.
